My old original Xbox 360 finally bit the dust, after 4 years of faithful service. I bought this console as an affordable replacement. The new slim models run so very quiet, almost the only sounds you will hear are the sounds of the disc drive “seeking”. I hope the reliability is much improved over the last few Xbox designs, but only time will tell. As for now, it runs pretty cool compared to my old Xbox 360, is incredibly quiet, and has wireless capability! The 4 GB memory is internal flash memory, so you cannot install games like if you had a HDD. But a cheap 16 GB flash thumb drive will work just as a HDD would! I love this console. I own all of the video game systems from the Atari 2600 till current, and the Xbox 360 has been my favorite by far! Xbox Live is a very good online multiplayer service, and is worth purchasing….trust me! (you get 1 month free Gold Membership) The new controller has been redesigned with better D-pad function, and the sticks are tight and responsive. The matte finish on the plastic looks good when it’s new, but I noticed you can scratch it, leaving darker marks on it pretty easily. Buy a 16 GB flash drive with your Xbox 360 4 GB and you will be a happy camper! Otherwise, you “can” take your old original xbox 360 HDD apart and it does indeed then fit right in to this new console. I did that too, and is much cheaper than buying the HDD Microsoft says you have to have for this console! If the reliability issues are indeed fixed, this will be the king of the consoles…..period!

Got this to replace my current 250gb elite system bc I’m giving it to my sister. I had bought a 320gb media drive for this unit and the 360 slim is slick looking. Very well packed and comes with 1 wireless controller w batteries.

I bought this xbox since my other one died. It is pretty basic and doesn’t include a headset or special cables, and you will need to buy a hard drive if you dont already have an xbox 360 drive. If your xbox died like mine, there is a tutorial on youtube on how to put it in this xbox. You will need a hard drive enclosure for that drive, so search for one like this one: Hard Disk Drive Case Enclosure for Xbox 360 Slim Hard Drive (Enclosure Only, Hard Drive NOT Included)

Microsoft had a great idea to make a system like the Xbox over
a decade ago and did not disappoint when it finally came out.

The Xbox 360 is no exception.

This system has many of the same hardware components that
a high end PC has in it such as graphics cards), sound chip(s),
processor(s), CPU(s), memory, fan, etc.

This makes it a very powerful gaming system, one of
the best ever made imo.

To sum up the Xbox 360:

The graphics are great on most games and never really slow down
or get choppy frame rates.

The sound is awesome and very realistic when playing
certain games such as GTA IV, Fallout 3 and Oblivion
as well as any WWII first person shooters and survival
horror games.

Best played on an HD TV though some people may be able
to buy an RFU adapter like I did and play it on a regular
TV but the sound and graphics will not be as good as on an
HD TV.

Can be connected to the internet for multiplayer and
to redeem Microsoft Live points from playing games.

DVD Movies, Music Cd’s and USB Memory Card/Storage Devices
can be played and connected to this system.

Has a 4GB Hard Drive for storing hundreds of saved games.

A wide variety of games including many hits such as GTA IV,
Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout 3 New Vegas, Half Life 2, etc.

Comes with a wireless Xbox 360 controller for playing games
that runs for about 20-30 hours before needing to replace the
battery’s. I recommend Duracell or Energizer batteries for this
wireless controller.

The only downside to this system is that it does not play
original Xbox games even though it has a 4GB Hard Drive and
does not come with an internet adapter.

The system includes the following:

Xbox 360 4GB S Console
Xbox 360 Black Wireless Controller
Xbox 360 Composite A/V cable (standard definition)
One Month Xbox LIVE Gold Membership
1 year limited warranty on console

All in all a great system.

I bought mine from Gamestop brand new for $220
with tax and it worked great for well over a year before
I had to trade it in for cash during a financial crisis
I had.

Overall, I give this system 4/5 stars.

I bought this xbox last year on black friday and it is still running great. If you are going to downlaoad map packs or even demos, i suggest you get the 250gb. I am planning on upgrading soon to the ld. ed. MW3 Console. Over all it has been great, the only drawback is that you have to pay for live, but if you have a lot of friends with the same games, it is worth it. If you have any questions, ask and i will reply.

Just got my new 4GB Slim a few days ago and added a WD 320GB Scorpio Black hard drive to it so I’m good to go!

I must say comparing this console to my Jasper & Falcon systems … it’s really quite. You can’t even hear the optical drive spinning when loading a game onto the hard drive … now that’s quite! It’s also smaller than expected which is nice … hopefully that doesn’t cause any overheating problems. It looks like the ventilation slots should provide more air flow through the case keeping things nice and cool. I really like the extra USB ports on the back and the optical audio port was a nice surprise but I felt it was unnecessary since it already has HDMI. Overall, it’s a really clean, quite, sleek design and I’m hoping it’s a reliable one too!

As for the warranty … mine says 90 days for the console …. not a year … so either Microsoft is really confident in the new design or were getting screwed big time … lol!

I had the original white 360 but decided to upgrade to the ps3 since it came in a tv package. I dicided to give the xbox another try when it came with student purchace of a laptop.I thought that the concept of the kinect was cool. First of all it doesn’t play blue ray discs. You would think that microsoft would take into account the demand of blue ray from their consumers and integrate this into their console but they didn’t. And another thing that I really didn’t like was that you have to have the gold membership to Xbox live to play instant streaming movies from Netflix, meaning that you either have to pay a monthly or yearly fee on top of the membership charges for netflix to be able to play streaming movies. It can only be used as a game console for our family in addtion to the PS3, wii and nintendo DS, which the first to can at least play instant streaming without an extra expence. I’m really disapointed in Xbox.

The watch is extremely thin and sleek. I have gotten quite a few compliments on this watch, and I think it goes well with about anything. The clasp is very effective as it has a hook, a clasp, and a safety clasp to keep it attached. The clasp is also very simple to use once you figure it out (which took me about three minutes). The numbers are large and easy to read (which wasn’t really a concern for me but it is still nice). Overall I am extremely pleased with this very light and inexpensive yet good looking watch.

Update: While this is an excellent watch, it is not very durable. I only wear it for the daily activities of a college student and am pretty careful not to bang it on things. However, about 6 months after I bought it I started noticing some minor scratches, and within a year it had a major crack in the face crystal. Also after about a year I had problems with the band, which eventually broke apart. I still love this watch and I would like to buy another one, but the lack of durability makes it a bad value for me.

Levi’s Men’s 501 Jean Reviews

I wore Levi’s years ago when I was a teenager, now 20+ years later wanted to “get back to my youth” and try them. I bought several different styles on Amazon with the idea to return the ones that I didn’t like. The waist on these are a low cut, which made me think I would probably return, but after trying on and being told by my wife that I didn’t look so old fashioned in them I decided to keep.

Now it’s been a few weeks and these are becoming my favorite pair of jeans. If they aren’t in the wash they are on my body.

I ordered some 501s in the same size jeans that I wear anywhere else. 1) They were WAY too small, like 2 sizes too small. So, I guess Levis run small. 2) I ordered the “Tidal Blue” color, as pictured above, and I received a VERY dark blue without any wear on the legs. So, I guess that picture is wrong. What color name do you think is correct for the “Tidal Blue” color? Oh, also, the pockets were regular pockets and not as pictured, however I didn’t really like the pictured ones, so that didn’t bother me at all.

I have relied on Levi’s 501s for day-to-day wear for fifteen years now, and I am SO disappointed in the changes the company has made in the last year or two. I use 501s in the black denim, and black denim Levi’s shirts. Levi’s has switched out to cheaper, lighter-weight fabric in both jeans and shirts. The new fabric is stiff, doesn’t have the nice “drape” of the real Levi’s product we knew, holds wrinkles out of the washer, and does not age into that nice softness I remember. What in the world is Levi’s thinking ? Instead of a quality product, we get pouffy names (“clean rigid” ?) for an endless selection of dye types. How can we make Levi’s get back to producing a quality product ?

just received and was pleased. It’s basically as you would expect… costume type jewelry. It’s shiney, seems to keep time. was packaged nice and received timely. I tried to purchase the Breda Watch, but was notified my order was canceled because of no stock. This was my second choice.
Would not wear this as a daily watch, but nice for wearing to my office job or out. looks nice with a complimenting gold bracelet next to it.
